All the way to the end, you see some of the largest wheels Garrett makes , upward of 100mm. Under TV75 you can see the the wheel size as Ex 102mm, ind 76mm etc. The housing from Kinugawa is a Garrett TV7512. The wheel was a very close match in specs and to a novice like me looked like it would fit.

Anyhow, I will be honest that I know very little about turbos/compressors and wheel matching. I am just out looking for the largest compressor wheel/housing combo out there. Primarily because the hobby motors tend to be limited by rpm and not power. Leopard has motors all the way to 7600W .. but limited to 35k rpm. (they do have 40krpm motors topping at 5500W)

Also, the wheel I posted is for a Garrett GT4202. Housing for this wheel is available on ebay for around $310 ish.

As for coupling the motor to the wheel, I was planning on following pretty much what you did ... the collet adapter.

It looks like there is no way to avoid a trip to the machine chop, I was hoping to have a backing plate machined , in Aluminum ... Not sure if it will be bolted in or if I will need an appropriate sized C clip like the Phantom setup.

FYI: I invite all criticism as I have no experience with these and would like to know if I am totally off course.

The collet adapter isn't going to be as easy to implement on a turbo compressor. Garrett turbos use a 1/4" shaft for he wheel and I have yet to find a collet adapter hat will fit that. I think Mitsubishi Uses a 6.5mm shaft if I recall correctly. The SeaDoo compressor also has the advantage that it has a recessed space on he front and back which makes the length of adapter needed relatively short. With most turbo impeller wheels the adapter would have to fit the whole thickness of the wheel unless you were to machine out a recess in the bottom which would be tricky.
