I think (and I maybe wrong), but release of BRZ officially puts the end of life on WRX as we knew it since 2002. In 2014 model they will most likely have 1.6 or 2.0 turbo engines, which will not be sufficient for the car of that size with AWD. But it will bring better fuel economy (who needs that in WRX???)
Its sad to see WRX go backwards. But at least BRZ has an upward trend for now.
