Well, if you consider FIA GT2 and GT3 Racecars not as "fast cars", then you are right.

Of course the goal of the 86s must be to "survive" and maybe to achieve a class victory.

SP != Stock (SP stands for "Special")
For example the Porsche 911 RSR is in the SP7 class.

They have near Stock classes in the VLN & 24h Race, but they are called "V" - Classes. The 86 could compete in the V3 or SP3. If there is an additional "T" like in SP4T there you find the super- or turbocharged cars.
