All I am trying to say while annoying it poses no safety or performance issues, don't expect a fix to be around the corner. The TSB and subsequent pump replacement certainly seems to be more just to appease people than actually fixing the issue. I have seen this many times from several manufactures. Why thank you for acknowledging I can change oil; dare I mention I can rebuild engines, transmissions, and diagnose driveability issues; at least that's what Audi and BMW tell me.
