I don't think that is an official Toyota concept. Its completely separate.

From what I understand something similar to the hybrid drivetrain in the MR-2 concepts could end up in a much more expensive future Toyota sports cars. Like a hybrid version of FT-1 and or the BMW and Toyota joint project car. Toyota and BMW are also rumored to be working on a second joint mid engine car to take on the 911. But its just rumors at this point, so take it with a gain of salt.
