95 or 98? I'm asking here cause if i'm not mistaking the Americans have different fuels...
Does it make a big change which i use? I read somewhere that 98 is better for performance & just in general for the engine if it's a high compression ratio one, and ours is high compression ratio right (12.5:1) ?
And if i'm using 95 right now, am i allowed to drive this tank empty & then just fill it with 98 next time?

Thanks guys!
Grtz
I use 95 for daily driving (max 3000rpm), 98 for fun drives. It's the first car I actually notice a difference between 95 and 98.
To switch just drive your tank empty, fill up with 98 and done. The first 25km's or so you don't notice the difference but after that you will start to feel it (buttdyno).
But don't expect big changes.

It seems that 95RON fuel is more prone to the "cricket syndrome" (fuel pump chirping) and yes, you will probably get less power, particularly on a hot day.
I don't think anybody in Belgium has crickets? I drive for over a year now with a tank of 95 and never heard the infamous crickets.
I think it's more the quality of the fuel that's causing it. Cheap white brand leftovers will have more polluted fuel than the more expensive brands.
The Americans also have 89AKI (something like 93RON) and winterblend fuel and other crapfuel like that.
