That would make for a really nice to drive setup.

The other two are centrifugals which I really don't get. It's like the compressor half of a turbo driven by a belt.

What I'm waiting for is for someone to make a twin-screw positive displacement with an integrated intake manifold and water-air IC, for a factory-style install right on top of the motor.
Raptor SC is came concept as CompTech's S2k's SC kit. Don't tell me you haven't heard of S2k's SC kit.

& it is proven to work awesomely!!! IIRC Orido even loved the driving feels.

As for fluid cooled IC, 3rd pic isn't air-air cooling system. It is actual fluid in there to cool the air.

FMIC will get cooler air into the engine, but it lag more than TMIC due to distance between turbo to Engine is longer than TMIC. While TMIC get less lags than FMIC, but it cannot get cooler air into the engine than FMIC... so I was heard. I'm not SC or Turbo PhD

Also even though it said Top Mount... IC is actually Back/Rear of the Engine. Top of Tranny section.
