I had a great time meeting and greeting everyone at the 86DRIVE/NorCal 86 table as they came through for registration. Unfortunately in between that, a brief chance to go grab some grub, and helping to run the raffle giveaways, I barely had any time to go around and check out all the cars. But from my brief walkthrough and everything I heard from others, there was an amazing collection of cars there today. Some of the guys who haven’t been that active and weren’t able to come out since last summer’s event, were amazed to see just how far some of the cars have come since we saw them last summer. Our community is growing and it’s a great thing to see. But even more encouraging to me, is the quality, enthusiasm and friendliness of the folks I’ve had the pleasure to meet. So many smiles and laughs today, and for me that is what makes these kinds of things worthwhile to be a part of.
