I had to have my HU replaced due to constant re-booting while driving, but I have never had and problems with my radio presets..........both XMSirius or FM bands. It sounds like a unique problem. I would tell your dealer. They replace my head unit without even testing it, they just took my word for it, as they have had some well known problems with this HU, not only in the BRZ, but also the Impreza and Crosstrek have it as an option.
