A friend of mine at a previous base built an engine for his civic. It was a K24 block with a K20 head, plus a turbo. It had the torque of a 2.4L, but the VTEC and higher redline of the K20. With a conservative tune he was putting down about 300 whp, and it was a beast on the track. Fair amount of torque steer though.

CRV = b series so engine would stay.
My car is mostly back to stock power wise since I had intended to sell it. I'm building a new trans now (carbon synchros, ITR gearing, LSD), hytech header will be installed when I'm less lazy (have to cut and weld a new flange on the exhaust for it to work). Has a bling Mugen intake. Everything else power wise is stock right now. Stupid thing has 5-8% leakdown numbers and great compression otherwise I would have torn it apart and rebuilt it by now but it's hard to justify when the engine is so healthy still at ~180k.
