By high level, I was referring to speaker level... you said you were using the wiring from the factory amp? AFAIK, the factory amp does not have RCAs. I'm also not sure about the signal coming form the HU to factory amp. It sounds likely that you're using speaker level input into your equipment, causing it to trip. I'm no expert on the BRZ/FRZ audio system though, but I thought the lines coming out of the HU were all speaker level outputs?
Are you using an line converter? or did you merely splice in a RCA cable into stock wiring?
