I'm sorry that was a typo, I'm using the low level output that the factory amp uses, feeding it into my crossover, then back to the amp (to eliminate bass from door speakers). If the crossovers pre-out voltage is too high for the factory amp, why would it make the entire head unit cut out? Wouldn't that just put the amp into protection mode?
