The sad fact about the Evo is that it's ultimately not a driver's car, it's a car built around technology and aids to go faster. The BRZ and cars of its ilk are built around the driver, allowing for momentum drivers to prosper rather than simply using the throttle as a great equalizer.
Ultimately, I am a firm believer that horsepower is a crutch and does little to improve the experience of driving. Steering feel, chassis balance, and tactility really define how a car drives.
