It's entirely possible that for whatever reason, this particular BR-Z didn't have a telescopic wheel (broken? missing feature?), or that I simply didn't pull it hard enough.

It definitely wasn't microfiber. The seats had two types of cloth to it: rough and rougher. Good thing is that neither was anywhere close to being uncomfortable, and I felt that they would probably not wear out very easily.
