I have a tinted front windshield and tinted 2 front doors. Tinted or not, the car is still hot if you park it outside. If you have a sunshade (as do I), it reduces the heat on the interior of the car.. more than a tinted windshield.

If it's hot enough to make your back sweat.. you need the AC on.

I have 3M Crystalline... it's currently the world's most advanced film. More advanced than Air 80, hyper optik, and formula 1. I can say that when the sun is hitting me directly... it doesn't burn... but there is still heat being stored in the car.

Yes, tint on the two front doors and front windshield is illegal. If you really want it, I advise a light tint (lighter than 40%). Windows are tinted from factory... adding more tint on that will make it darker.
