Did you ever wonder how aftermarket companies get products to market so quickly after a brand new model has been released? You're about to find out.

All those aftermarket parts-makers need inspiration and measurements to be able to start work on their products – so Scion made the FR-S available for just that.

Five FR-S models were present. A few on the ground, a couple in the air. One with removed interior components. Another with removed wheels.

One black (Raven), one white (Whiteout), one red (Firestorm), one orange (Hot Lava), and one silver (Argento).
All amazing.

Some companies used computers to take detailed specs of the engine bay…

Lots of wheel guys came and took measurements of the wheels and wheel-wells…

Interior and audio companies measured and poked around the inside…

Brake covers and radiators were measured for…

Suspension and exhaust components were talked about…

There was even this funny looking playdoh-like stuff used to measure the amount of space between the engine and the hood…

Every part of the new FR-S was looked at…talk about
revealing!

While those present had a purpose at hand, they were also excited to get to see this much anticipated Front-engine Rear-wheel drive Sportscar up close!

Even HPI was ready with a pre-production FR-S RC racer which looks pretty authentic!

If it were up to me, I would've grabbed the key and speed on out of there…

...but I'm waiting like everyone else! Getting a view from the driver's seat will have to be enough to hold us all over. It won't be much longer until the FR-S arrives at your local Scion dealer!
I JUST said I'd take a BRZ over an FR-S....OMIT. time will tell..i just know I want an AS1 of some kind.
