People buy what they want to buy. The point of commerce is that both parties come away with something they want more than what they have. Who cares why someone chose a BRZ over an FR-S, did YOU get what YOU wanted?

I got a BRZ for my DD. It all depends on what
kind of enthusiast. Track enthusiast? The 'REAL' track enthusiasts would buy one of these cars, gut it clean, and make a pure track car. How many of you FR-S purchasers are doing that?
I just graduated. I can't afford that. What I CAN afford though is a 3000 dollar miata, gut the shit out of it, slam it, and track it.
