Supposedly, the latter 2014 BRZs have the 2015 spec suspension bolts. The 2013 is in fact, a good deal. I'm sure you can knock a couple hundred off of the 2014 model as well, if you go visit in person. In the end though, they are essentially identical cars. At this point, I'd go visit both cars in person and check them out. One of the things I looks for is how the paint is. Dealers tend to install paint swirls free of charge. A 2013 that's been sitting around and test driven is more likely to have been washed several times and have more swirls. But that's not always the case. Also, since you're up north, you should check out the underbody for rust. A 2013 that has been left out for a long time could have some more surface rust than a 2014.

In the end, it's your money.
