Is the Nissan Z even the same thing? I thought they were heavy cars. If I just wanted heavy and fast, I would buy a Mustang. I want nimble Porsche like handling. Like my 2006 Civic Si was only better plus RWD
I've learned with my old SI that the handling trumps the HP.
And honestly, until I see gas usage on the BRZ STI, I can't say that would be better. Alternatively, I think this BRZ engine can be upgraded easy with cold air intakes and exhaust upgrades, as they said it was designed with more headroom than it uses. They said it could have as much as 250 HP with a few tweaks, turboed to 275ish even. Just not sure what it would do for the gas.
