AeroWRX Yea, I think 27k is at the point where it's not something a person strapped for cash is looking at, so people looking at it are going to be able to make the jump to a 370Z.
An STI version would be right in Z territory. Considering how the S2000 managed to sorta sell, they could probably get away with a slightly slower car that costs slightly more. I think forced induction actually makes quite a bit of sense. A good ole' supercharger is great because it doesn't build boost if you don't need it, and theoretically doesn't hurt fuel economy at all, although when you get in boost, as usual, efficiency plummets. Personally, I think the redline needs to go up first, because more revs is just awesome, and then boost but not to the point where you have to drop compression ratio. Preferably a next-next-gen electric supercharger (I suppose belt driven centrifugal is fine too if it's cheaper) with generator turbine, and the rest of the electronic goodies that need to be there to make it work such as a mild hybrid system
