I'd add my vote to a 2JZ. The 22RE you'd probably want to do really if you had the extra parts lying around or just wanted to be different. Sorry, just my opinion but the fact is the 2JZ has more options available.
Either way you go (totally different engine swap or built FA20) be prepared to spend some $$$. Keep in mind the 2JZ, EJ2x, 22RE, etc. is not a straight bolt-in affair so I hope you know some reputable fabricators/car builders/tuners to do the job right.
