Well, frankly, yes. I don't think the statistic has been compiled, but the propensity to modify a labeled "sports" car vs a "regular" car would probably be an acceptable assumption. To say "everyone" would be modding a sports car is hyperbole, but the point still stands that I think it's more likely that a sports car will be modded because it's a good assumption that car enthusiasts are the majority owner of sports cars and car enthusiasts enjoy modding cars.

Anecdotal evidence isn't very strong (e.g. - I don't see many riced out FR-Ses where I'm at), but considering that I think hellaflush is "rice," I'd say it's maybe a 40/60 split of riced vs. what I consider "acceptable" Miatas. Not a majority, but still a large number. That's just the nature of sports cars and the hobby, imo.
