Can't believe two people have asked and nobody has answered!!
Simple solution:
1. Remove e-brake shift boot
2. Unplug connector to e-brake switch and tuck wire so it doesn't interfere
DONE!
Your DRLs will now stay on whenever the car is on. The dash light for your e-brake will not turn on but your e-brake will work fine and your DRLs will turn on when you turn on your ignition.
Personally, I use my e-brake to slow down when I pass cops so they don't see the brake lights. Having DRLs shut off when you pass a cop is pretty suspicious, so I just unplugged my e-brake switch
