I'm coming from cars that have much higher maintenance costs. I gave an estimate of what I'm used too. After poking around online, the costs aren't much less at least for oil for this car. Even at the extremely low estimates, we are still talking about several hundred dollars just for oil changes included in the price of the FRS. Seems like that should be factored in when people are talking about the "value" one car presents over the other.

I already tried doing that.

An oil change is like $60-70 at my Subaru dealer for full synthetic oil change. Most people on here will do that themselves. Rotating your tires takes 15min to do yourself. You are definitely not getting $700 worth of maintenance.

As well as Dave.

At best 1 tire rotation, so add 50 more.. so you might be at 230. $1,530 is no where near $2,000, and even $1,600 is closer to $1,300 than it is to $2,000. We could just say "around 1500-1600"..
Of course my car would never see the dealer anyways, even for free maintenance.

You are looking at about ~$300 worth of maintenance over that time period with the oil changes and tire rotations.

Has it been confirmed that the FRS will be eligible for that at launch?
