That means 7.5k, 15k and 22.5k oil changes. Tire rotation may be spec at 15k, who knows, and the "multi point inspection" aka "yeah it looks fine". Oh and if it's a Scion, every maint time includes a free check of the drivers floor mat installation. So maybe $200 worth?

Well I never said 700 that was actually just put into my mouth, I said the difference could end up being closer to 2000 instead of the 1300 difference on paper that the cars are. And yes, 4 oil changes for 70 dollars = 300$. So 1300+300 = 1600 - which is "closer to 2000".
That was my reasoning. Anyway, it's a non-trivial amount of money that I think could be factored in to the purchasing decision.
