Alcantara is a trademarked material. It actually feels a bit sticky/grippy when you touch it and is used in sports cars for a reason. Its durable, not slippery, looks upscale and I haven't met many people complaining about having Alcantara in their cars.

The premium seats cloth looks like a similar material to the newer WRX seats and should be good at repelling stains.

Whether or not you like any of these is your own opinion. At least from my own experience bolstering and seating position matter more than seating material when it comes to keeping you in your seat during spirited driving.
