Well part of the reason people are saying the Scion is too much, is because the price point for the Scion for the equipment you get is a bit higher than that of the Subaru. Meaning that if Scion sold all three trim levels the premium would actually be a bit more on the Scion than the Subaru. So actually Scion owners are paying for a Scion badge, unless they just ordered the FRS for the fact that it is cheapest
I ordered the ltd because I currently have a Subaru, so my trade in will be better, and wanted the nicer interior. I'm fine with paying more for that and am not going to be losing sleep over the fact that a bunch of Scion owners are driving basically the same car for 3k cheaper. That's just how trim levels work.
