Installed WHistler Pro3600 built in radar detector. Removing front grille NOT POSSIBLE, had to remove entire plastic front bumper to get access to mount the remote pickup antenna. BTW This detector works great detects radar long before you can even see the speed trap. I'd say a mile from radar source is first alert and my other 2 cars have the K40 which costs $1,500 more than the $230 whistler.
This unit is every bit as sensitive as the built in K40 and they all false alarm by Walgreens and other auto door openers in the city. However, on the highway if it chirps 99% of the time you better be slowing down.
