There was nothing else that met my requirements in this price range. Everything else was > $2K and I don't quite want to step into that game. I'd agree the value is strong in this one (let the frugality flow through you!). Requirements: forged frame, Made in USA, 9mm, stainless, target sights, 'match fit'.
It's still in jail for a while, but it had only one weird issue while I was playing with it at the shop: the slide appears to hold up just after the slide stop is released - this occurs when riding the slide, it fired 20 shots at the shop without any hiccups.
