Heat works best
You'll also need a pair of vise grips
You'll feel a disc like projection between the nut and the link itself. Put that vise grip on it so it prevents it from spinning while you're trying to loosen the nut.
I was able to zap one side out with just the vise grips.
Other side I had to heat it up a bit before it would come out.
