Had them on my Civic Si. They stopped very well. Even cold they'd hauled down better than stock, and when they warmed up they bit very hard. I always had really sticky tires on the car though so I could use the added bite.

I had white wheels, the dust was awful and seemed more corrosive than a stock pad.

If you have a nice set of wheels I'd wash, polish and wax them regularly with high wearing pads.

Mine did squeal some but never really bad. More along the lines where some people with their windows down might show a casual interest in what old jalopy was pulling up next to them at a light. Never loud enough to bother me and I'm pretty anal.
