i'll rev it a bit to make it seem like i'm going to go. as he launches hard ... i turn at the light and go another route home.
I've had it happen once where the kid launched hard, and did not notice a cop wanting to turn right in the same direction we were going. kid didn't even make it past the intersection before the cop had his lights on. I gave them two quick honks of the horn and a thumbs up as i drove past.
