Stock tires are just about perfect for the car, though I would like a little better wet traction with them. I've been running with 215/45-17 Extreme performance Kumho XS on 17x8 Kosei K4R's for a while now and have come to the conclusion that it is just too much tire for a daily driver vehicle - I actually prefer it more on the stock tires. Since it's about time for new tires the plan is to go to something in between stock and the XS. Looking at going narrower than stock with a 205/45-17 tire size in a sticker Max performance category tire designed for wet handling on my set of 17x7.5" Enkei Fujin wheels (because the 205 tire tread width will match up very well with the 7.5 wheel width.) Set of excellent Max performance tires for under $300 total...yes please!
