But isn't the purpose of an AOS to separate the crap out of the air and return it to the engine?

OP: I currently have a single catch can setup and am replacing it with a dual setup. I don't like the idea of splicing the pcv and breather lines together into one can so I ordered one can for the PCV side and the other for the breathers. Who knows if it's correct though
