I sold off my MP5 clone .22lr because it haddn't been shot in two years for lack of finding ammo. Picked up a shotgun with the money and blast away cheaper than 9mm now.

All of those 22s were purchased when they were plentiful and cheap. I paid less than 15 each for all the 525 packs, CCIs were 6 bucks a brick. I refuse to pay today's ridiculous prices. 22LR is the only caliber I stock pile since I can't reload them. I keep other calibers at only 1000 rds per caliber, I stock pile reload components so it's like having 5k rounds each caliber. Oh and I also stock pile XM855s for SHTF situation.
