I'm an old fart (61) with perfect record and no accidents. I never buy a car without checking on the insurance implications as I don't need the surprise. Bottom line is I have USAA and on my '93 Lexus SC300 MT and my rate is $50.82 and was quoted $62.50 for the FR-S. I'll lower the deductible since it will be a brand new car so the amount will be a little higher ($69.36).

One word to the youth out there getting an 86 and that is insurance companies are vastly different when it comes to claims. A cut rate price will translate into a claim headache should you ever need to submit one. Suffice to say when I was young I had a claim with Farmers and will never use them again. Consumer Reports reviews insurance once and a while. State Farm, AAA & USAA are tops for rates and claims although you need a military connection to get USAA.
