shiv@vishnu I am considering permanently mounting my OFT so that I could easily log things, if needed.
I have an ultragauge that I use, so I'll be drawing a couple of comparisons to that.
1. The ultragauge, although is always drawing power, turns to "off mode" when the car is off. So there is no display lit up. Therefor, you'll have no need to unplug it whenever you get out of the car. Is there any feature on the OFT that I have overlooked that would let you do this? I was thinking it could work like, once the ignition is off, the OFT powers down.. but if you tap it, it wakes back up (lets say, if you were tuning, etc.)
2. The ultragauge also has a predetermined instrument panel set up, so every time it turns on, it just takes you to the gauges you'd like to look at. Any way we could see something like this for OFT? Like, it automatically takes you to AFR screen on start maybe?
I love the idea of replacing gauges with the OFT, but if you really want to constantly monitor things as you could with a real gauge, I think these things would be limitations for me. Would love to hear back from you on what the current plans are, or if I'm missing anything
