Yes, that's why I didn't quote that picture but got really excited about the second one which looks at most 5 feet tall unless those are 30" wheels, realistically this would translate to a ~6' vehicle, tiny by today's truck standards when you consider a Toyobaru is ~52" and a standard sedan is ~60". If that A-BAT concept becomes a reality the only competition it will have is the Honda Ridgeline, why would you try to take a bite at competition that barely sells 20k units?
Looking at the truck segment it really only makes sense to either slot something in under the Taco and move it a bit more upmarket (higher quality, updated drivetrain) which should hopefully steal sales from the Frontier, the smaller 2 door American pickups, and growing hatch market while bringing in buyers to check out the more capable Taco/Tundra, or replace the Taco with a new model or significant update. Either way can work but the only thing that would bring me into the showroom would be the specs like I imagined above.
