The V2 is going to add increased strain onto your engine oil, as it will get its lubrication from the engine oil, whereas the V3 uses its own, so the V2 will add some increased strain onto your motor b/c of that. You'll have to have increased oil cooling capabilities if only for that (though obviously it won't be as big of an added load as say an oil-fed turbo).
