Those people are dumb. Age has nothing to do with being able to appreciate cars: driving ability and enthusiasm for driving do. If you love driving and want to get better at it, you'll appreciate your car regardless of what it is. If you don't love driving, you can potter around in your 458 without appreciating it. It sounds to me like you'll appreciate your car
