If the target is 250hp, then the revs will stay the same with an FA25, and given the basic engine design, the low end torque will still suck, but will be marginally improved. 2.5 is quite a change in displacement though, not sure that would happen.

To appeal to the American armchair racer they'd shoot for a higher hp number rather than try to do anything about low end torque, and I would happen to like it that way
