I was surprised at how fast this car depreciated, but imo all that will make no difference 10 years from now. Finding an early unmodified mt example, to an enthusiast will be priceless. Like others have said, I predict it will follow the s2000 in that respect.

Truth be told and somebody earlier said it best. These car will be the "new" 240sx come 10-15 years time. My predictions in 10-15 years are as follows
beat up examples ~$4000-6000
good examples ~$6000-8000
clean to mint examples ~$8000-10000
That's what my crystal ball tells me.
