I won't deny that the P1 is done well, but I'm curious what exactly about the Porsche makes you think it is done "not so well"? If anything, as a hybrid system, I would say the Porsche is a better implementation, since the P1 doesn't have regenerative braking and the Porsche does (one of the main benefits of hybrids).
