Yes, usually sales of niche products like the MX-5 and Z will decline over the years. My point was just that sales have taken a sharp decline. If you look at years 2009-2013, sales are way lower than lets say 2000-2004. I understand the economy will always play a role with niche products. All I'm saying is regardless of the state of the economy, sales are lower when compared to previous models.
