Lots of options out there for superchargers, which is a good thing!

I am partial to the vortech, I've had a good experience @ 10K miles total on the kit, only changed the oil in the blower and replaced a squeaky idler pulley. Swapped on a smaller SC pulley and having even more fun. The squeak prone idler pulley is replaced with an easy to get (autozone etc.) gates pulley for $15. IMO the weakness of the kit is that squeaky idler pulley that has caused belt problems with some members. Swap that, and I'm a firm believer that its a reliable DD kit (which is what I'm doing)

Not everyone has the problem, but better safe than sorry. You don't want to have to swap a drive belt on the side of the highway. Pretty sure the rotrex kits have their own dedicated belt, so no worries if the belt snaps on those kits
