Over the years, I have BADLY abused some vehicles, and the worst I ever did was snap a U-joint.
No clutches, throw out bearings, or anything?

As for the bolded section, I just can't believe that statement. I've personally destroyed synchros in 2 transmissions now. And don't even want to talk about clutches and TOBs.
