Cheapest alternative is to diy. I haven't opti-coated car yet but planning to go to Drew at the end of this year to get my car opti-coated/detailed. Either way it's going to cost you an arm and a leg if you bring it to someone. Like I stated before, you would need the car to be wash/wax stripped and fully detailed before applying opti-coat. If you don't all the swirls/dirt/old wax/etc will get trapped under the coat and of course that will end up with a not so pretty looking car.
