To all the Toronto-area guys, if you're willing to spend 1.5 - 2hrs to get there, some of the roads up in the Muskokas are amazing and the views are spectacular, especially during the fall season when the leaves have turned colour.

For the price of a tank of gas, you can enjoy a day of pure driving enjoyment, and you don't even have to break any traffic laws to achieve it. In particular, there's a stretch of Hwy 518 east of Orrville about 10km in length with a posted speed limit of 80km/h, but it's so twisty that you'll be hanging on even at 85km/h in a typical car. And that road has been practically vacant every time I've visited. I suspect the FR-S/BRZ will handle these turns with ease.

To a lesser extent, if you detour via Dunnville when going to Niagara, the regional highways are pretty alright too.

Unfortunately, we have to drive a fair bit first to get to some of these roads from our neck of the woods.

PM me if you're looking for or willing to offer suggestions.
