Can you please explain why a stiffer bolt setup/more rigid suspension/reworked shocks would be anywhere near (in the case of the S2000 AP2) an engine with changes included increased torque and lower redline? I just fail to see the comparison between the two. Please explain how the 86 will be toned down exactly? It sounds like it be stiffer and more rigid: " The most important update consists of a more rigid fixation of the front suspension and the rear shock absorbers. The increased rigidity is exploited by the reworked shock absorbers, which provide a more stable damping and improved friction control, with Toyota claiming they deliver smoother and more communicative handling."

Please correct me if I am not accurate?
