It is though, currently the head unit only supports the A2DP (Calls, audio streaming), AVRCP profiles (remote control) and OBD2 adapters (probably a SPP or serial port profile) over bluetooth. It does not support the tethering profile. You're stuck with wifi as you only choice there. It would need the DUN or LAP profiles to handle tethering via bluetooth.
